Saṃsāra or Sangsāra (Sanskrit: संसार) (in Tibetan called ‘khor ba (pronounced kɔrwɔ [IPA] in many Tibetan dialects), meaning “continuous flow”), is the repeating cycle of birth, life, deathand rebirth (reincarnation) within Hinduism, Buddhism, Bön, Jainism, and Yoga.
As you can see this blog title is a bit of an oxymoron 🙂

I started Samsara nearly 2 years ago; a 23 year old female Humanities student with a huge love for arts and crafts. At the time I was studying hindu culture and religion, so the word kind of stuck with me, hence Samsara Prints.
Using a second-hand printing machine (Thanks Jimmy Joe!), a couple of leftover chemicals, a few tshirts and lots of ambition, I began what is now the greatest hobby-turned-job I’ve ever had! Pushing myself into long hours of hard work and trial-and-error, sweat and tears has been the best times in this new chapter.
It brings a smile to my face being able to make cool items for my customers, to provide you with an alternative to the usual boring apparel we see trending nowadays, to bring you the most bizarre images and old prints to life.
Hopefully with this blog you’ll get an idea of what this one-woman operated lil shop is all about!
